I've decide to push this update ahead of time.. but more updates will follow.

The skill point system is going to be the most noticeable change to the user interface. Most of my time was spent recoding and optimizing.

In short, the skill point max has been set back to 10 but it requires more points to level up your skill. For example, if you want to level your health skill up to level 4, it would cost 4 skill points. I made it twice as easy to level up now. This should help balance it out. For those of you that have built up a good amount of points already, I plan on giving you back double level/skillpoints when this update is added to the servers.


-Recoded the skill, level and special modules
-lots of code optimization
 -reduced lines of code needed by 300+ while increasing functionality
  -reduced player checks by 100+ while maintaining functionality
-base code added for secondary specials
-a few bug fixes
-Updated help menus
Is your goal to max skill points faster now or what?
Cause if you want to max it out faster it won't work,it takes a lot more time.You need to triple the levels which is not good for the ranking.on sv1 i had special and nade damge maxed and 16 skill points for health.Now i maxed out nade damage and 9 skills points for special,that's all.
If it's about maxing skills,most of the players on sv2(since it's the most played server)almost maxed out the skills,i have them maxed myself and plenty of other players.
My suggestion is to leave the skill points 20 for each skill and only need 1 skill to upgrade a skill.
So from the end,it's good like it is.

I don't see me going backwards I spent too much time recoding the new leveling system. It does take longer to level up now but you also get double xp, VIP bonus XP and all players received double skill points back. I'm also considering adding the ability for players to purchase skill points...

How does purchasing skill points work?

I haven't posted or decided on the cost of points. I already added and tested the module. It appears to be working correctly (Thanks LonelyMaid).

 I just need to work out a fair price for points and post it. I plan on automating everything on the steam servers in the near future. Instant Admin/VIP/Points from in game donating.

Cadi! Sorry. My English is bad.

Zombie Server I, II, III - normal.
Zombie Server IV -  level reset. Now is !xp=0 level=1. I think ALL players reset level on server IV. My Steam ID don't change.

Did you recently change your skills or class?
- NO.
Did you level up before it happend?
- Yes, my level was >50
Was everything working fine the last time you played and when you returned it was reset?
- Yes. Yes.
Has anyone had their level reset while they where playing?
- I don't know.
How long before you rejoined and noticed the problem?
- Last time i play on server IV 22-25 february 2016. 1 March i connect to Server IV and my level=1.

May be server is updated incorrectly?

Did you recently change your skills or class? Did you level up before it happend? Was everything working fine the last time you played and when you returned it was reset? Has anyone had their level reset while they where playing? How long before you rejoined and noticed the problem? I'm a little suspect of steam ID stealers at this point.. so I'll look into that first.

I did change skills and class a few times but not right before this happened.

Joined after maybe 2 or 3 days and was level 1.

I am not sure what level I was but was around 115 and everything was ok.

The only cause I can see for this happening "randomly", is when a player changes their class during round end/start before a server crash. That could potentially cause your xp database entry to become corrupted. I will be working on a proper fix asap. For now, I would suggest not changing your classes between rounds to minimize the risk of this happening.

I personally, have not been able to reproduce the problem on the test server. If somebody can explain the steps required to recreate the problem it would save some time.

-Made a few changes/optimizations to the class selection and reset functions.
-Minor code restructuring.

This may or not fix a level reset bug some people are experiencing. This should at least minimize the risk of it happening from changing classes between rounds.
