Map week

This week is going to be dedicated to maps. So far I have removed 30 crappy zm maps, removed 91 crappy GG maps. I added 26 new zm maps and I will be adding new DM and CS maps. If you have maps you would like added to any of the servers, please post them this week.

I don't know if all that maps works for the v34 version, so testing them it's recommended...

Hopefully some of them works in this version of the game without much loss of fps too...
and hopefully too, this will be good to the custom server for having more people entering it and we do need a variation in dust server... I'll check out some for office server and maybe i can come up with something good.

Well up until now i found these for office server and maybe for custom server:

First one:

cs_office_night_final

I fully tested it and works like a charm in v34, it's like the old regular office but at night and some high resolution made i think, it looks nice and it's a change of pace of that sunloaded OG office. On the bad side i think that it can cause a bit of fps loss for someone with a kind of old computer.

Second one:

Fully tested it too, and loved it! Looks neat, has a new aura or kind of it and has the same layout of the original office, but, when it has 16 players or more it extend itself to create more space for camping :P, something like the havana map in DM that changes itself after some time, but in this case it only extends when 16 or more players and when it's less than 16 players goes back to the original form. On the bad side can cause some fps loss too, it's a big map.

i will edit/update this when more offices maps are tested.

All credit goes to the modders, authors and studios from gamebanana and Cadi for taking his time for doing this.

Hello! the maps of_mirage, de_overpass and de_cache for the server custom would be good, they are competitive balanced maps for ct and t, so the players learn to play better as a team. they are for v34 (I have them)  ;D 8)

I will download and double check all the maps you guys have posted. Keep them coming.

I removed 12 more GG maps. That makes a total of 90 crap maps removed from GG alone. Hopefully that will provide a much better map selection. I may remove a few more but I've tested all of them at least twice now.

The following maps do not work on v34. They would need decompiled, fixed and recompiled to work. A few of the maps posted have missing textures or misc errors. I have my list very full when it comes to fixing maps at the moment. If anyone would like to fix these maps they can be added later.

The ze_sg_missions map presents a bug, the first player gets zombified at the first 5 seconds of the round so the rounds last like just 40 secnds because most of the players become zombies very soon.

Found a nice version of CS_office from gmod that you guys may like. A night version! Some screenshots of the map. Yes, this has been converted to v34. I'll need to fix a few things.




Then the issues:

No toilets or towels!



Uh, okay.


Shouldn't take too long, maybe add those props, add textures and fix some lighting issues on some spots.
